Heritage Society/Endowment Fund Giving
The Burbank Community YMCA Heritage Society is comprised of people who, by including our Endowment Fund in their financial or estate planning, have touched the lives of many future generations and created a living legacy.
Gifts to the fund are invested for long-term stability, while portions of the annual interest income can be used for current programs such as scholarships for low-income families. Donors can make general gifts to the Endowment Fund or can specify that their gift be used for a specific department or program. Naming opportunities are also available.
There are a number of different ways to contribute to our Endowment Fund. Each has its own tax benefit.
- Outright gift of cash
- Outright gift of appreciated assets
- Life insurance gift
- Gift through your will
- Gift made through a charitable trust or annuity
