Membership Policies

  • Upon entrance to the Burbank Community YMCA, members must present a valid membership card. If a valid membership card is not presented you will not be allowed entrance to use the facility. See Member Services for a new card. (Picture cards cost $10 to replace).
  • Adult members are allowed one guest per month. The guest must be at least 19 years old.
  • Registration for classes cannot be done over the phone. Registration and payment can be done in person at Member Services or online. AFYAP registration is an exception and may be done over the telephone or online.
  • Cancellations of monthly memberships require a 30 day written notice and your membership card. We do not accept cancellations via phone or fax. This process is done in person at Member Services.
  • Change of membership requires a 15 day written notice with the proper paperwork filled out. This includes changing membership types and/or changing the account from which monthly membership fees are withdrawn.
  • A $25 service fee will be added to your membership balance if we are unable to draft your account. This includes, but is not limited, to insufficient funds, closed accounts and changed expiration dates.
  • The YMCA reserves the right to close the facility during the year for maintenance purposes. We will make every effort to provide prior notification to our members when this occurs. No refunds will be issued for these times.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a member. We also reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • Monthly memberships are automatically deducted from either a Visa/MasterCard account or checking account with a voided check.
  • Memberships non-refundable or transferable.
  • Locker/Towel package: additional $10 per month, per adult. Towel tokens may be replaced for $5 a piece. Maximum 2 tokens per adult member.
