Maintenance Technician

Responsibility for maintenance of the interior and exterior of the building/facility by providing a safe, clean and attractive environment, ensuring efficient production operation.

Responsibilities

  • Light construction, installation, service, repair and diagnostics of maintenance of YMCA HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems, Painting, Carpentry, Irrigation and Landscaping.
  • Dismantles as able, defective machines and equipment, and installs new or repaired parts, or requests service vendor visit.
  • Follows manufacturers’ instructions and preventative maintenance schedules and procedures, and reports necessary changes or additional resources.
  • Maintains parts and equipment inventory and places orders for additional items.

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years related experience.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to use typical mechanical and power tools and facility equipment.
  • Computer operation, including MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends.
