• Professional instruction of Aquatics Fitness classes
• Maintains class rosters and checks daily attendance
• Enforce all YMCA pool rules, policies, schedules and procedures
• Maintains neatness and cleanliness of pool and deck areas
• Knowledge of the Emergency Action Plan and implements when necessary
• Member conflict resolution
• Performs other duties as needed

• Extensive work experience life guarding and aquatics fitness instruction. Must be knowledgeable of YMCA Aquatics Program.
• Preferably YMCA and Red Cross instructor level certification in C-Pro, Lifeguarding, AED, Oxygen Administration, AFYAP and WSI
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive, professional and respectful attitude
• Excellent problem solving & conflict resolution skills
• Orderly and task driven
