What A Race It Was!
If you were there on Thanksgiving Day 2013 for the 4th annual Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot, you know how exciting it was. Record crowds, both on & off the course. Impressive finish times. Some great costumes. And everyone sharing the good feeling of knowing that the funds raised make it possible for families in need to join the Y. Be sure to join us when the Burbank Community YMCA returns Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2014!
It's A Burbank Tradition
It happens every year. Thousands of people gather in downtown Burbank for what has become the area's biggest & best Thanksgiving Day tradition: the Burbank Community YMCA Turkey Trot. They run or walk in the 5k or compete in the 10k. They bring their children to join in the 1k kiddie fun run. Huge crowds line the course to cheer. It's a great event and proceeds benefit the Y's scholarship program which makes it possible for adults and kids in need to join the Y.
Be a sponsor...be a runner...be a volunteer...be a spectator...but, be there!
