Mommy, Daddy & Me
Sing, dance, swim and learn with your toddler! The Burbank Y offers "Mommy/Daddy and Me" family classes for parents and their kids ages 18 months to three years.
Kids grow fast. Make the most of those early years with our Mommy/Daddy and Me family classes - a wonderful way to bond with your young child while exposing them to a variety of enrichment activities that help build cognitive and motor skills. These classes also give both kids and parents an opportunity to socialize with their peers, which is great for new parents, and helps youngsters prepare for school and friendships.
Mommy/Daddy & Me classes are available as a monthly package or a la carte. We offer five different class formats with both morning and evening options. The package allows drop-in access to all classes throughout the month to give busy families maximum scheduling flexibility.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Wiggle Worms (Gymnastics):
Bring your little Wiggle Worm to our spacious Gymnastics Center and join our specially trained instructor for a group stretch, adventurous obstacle course and play time.
Storybook Dance:
Learn the fundamentals of dance through your favorite storybook characters. We will read a story and bring the characters to life through dance. This means your little one may come to class dressed as her/his favorite character. (New story every 2 weeks).
Zumba Kids:
Come Zumba with us!
Toddler Tunes:
Explore your child's natural love and appreciation for music. Through songs and simple handheld instruments you and your child will create beautiful music together.
Tadpoles (Swim Lesson):
Through water games, songs and basic movements, your child will begin to focus on basic swimming techniques and water safety skills. They will learn to paddle, kick, jump, control breath and eventually independently float and swim. Classes are held in the training Pool. An adult must accompany their child in the pool. Children must wear tight fitting plastic pants or swim diapers while in the pool.
