Burbank Family YMCA

Thank you for visiting the Burbank Family YMCA!   We invite you to look around and see the exciting changes we have made.  If you are a current member, we thank you for supporting the Y and hope that you continue to do so.   If you are a potential member, please see what we have to offer you and your family.  We hope you enjoy your visit!

Meet George Saikali, Our General Director

The Burbank Family YMCA welcomes you to its website!

For more than seven decades, our Y has been serving the community of Burbank, expanding its programs to meet the changing needs of ever-growing numbers of children and adults.   We started in 1924 with programs for a handful of young people in a single room.  Through the years we have built a comprehensive health, sports and meeting facility in the heart of Burbank.  We also have added programs in partnership with the city, schools and businesses around town, including a roller hockey league and a teen leadership club.  Today, we serve more than 28,000 members and participants, including 1,700 families, 8,000 children and 1,000 seniors.  Annually, the Y provides scholarships and subsidy totaling over $120,000 so that no child or adult is turned away for the inability to pay.

The YMCA Board of Directors and staff are delighted that you may be joining the Burbank Y family of members.  Our staff is committed to involving you in quality programs, clean facilities and modern equipment in a friendly, personal way.

George Saikali, General Director
