Our Y partners with the Burbank Unified School District and the Gwendolyn Sexton Foundation to provide children from low-income families an innovative literacy, mathematics, and enrichment program during the summer. Children who participate for 6 weeks gain an average of 10-12 weeks in math and literacy skills.

Reach & Rise

Our Y offers an inclusive therapeutic mentoring program that matches adult volunteer mentors with young people. This program offers over-stressed families a resource to help meet their children’s needs.

Youth & Government

Our Y’s model legislature and court program for high school students provides them with the opportunity to experience government firsthand and to learn how to solve community problems through democratic process. They gain confidence in public speaking abilities and leadership skills while making lifelong friends.

Social Impact Center

Our Y’s Social Impact Center serves as a community drop-in center for LGBTQIA+ participants, helping all individuals find their true colors while molding our next generation of change-makers. We are strongest when everyone feels safe, valued, supported and able to reach their true potential with dignity and love.
