What Does Movers & Shakers Look Like?

Experience expert-led classes by Certified Coaches, featuring a comprehensive exercise program targeting various neurological aspects of Parkinson's, with a focus on overall fitness, strength training, agility, and balance.

Our diverse workouts include activities like focus mitts, heavy bags, core exercises, calisthenics, and weight training. No prior experience is needed, and individuals of all ages are welcome.  

Additionally, participants engage in High-Intensity Indoor Cycling with PD and Voice Activation training for a well-rounded fitness experience. Join us for an inclusive and effective approach to Parkinson's wellness.


What We Do

Our structured and goal-oriented classes focus on enhancing the mind-body connection, integrating functional strength training in areas like balance, mobility, and agility.

Join us for an experience that not only promotes physical well-being but also nurtures camaraderie, fun, and laughter.


1. Classes: We offer a variety classes to accommodate varying degrees and levels of fitness.

2. YMCA Membership: Choose from a variety of 54 different Group Ex classes; from Functional Fitness to HIIT.

3. Community: Build a network of friends to inspire and encourage personal growth and camaraderie.

4. Knowledgeable Trainers: : Group Ex instructors are trained and certified in their specialty and certified personal trainers are CAA certified.

Frequency: 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)

Time: 11:00a - 1:00p

Fee: $115.00 monthly (plus membership)
